Annapolis First Baptist Church is a small, conservative evangelical church affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention.  It is located in the rural southeast Missouri town of Annapolis approximately 100 miles from St. Louis, MO.  Though modest in size, our tight-knit congregation enjoys serving Christ and sharing the Good News throughout Annapolis and beyond.  We are extremely mission minded in striving to fulfill the Great Commission and grow as disciples.  We would be delighted for you to worship with us anytime.

          The community of Annapolis is nestled in the St. Francois Mountains of southern Iron County and has a population of 345 after the 2010 census.  The South Iron R-1 School District serves a large area in and around Annapolis and has about 350 students in grades Kindergarten through 12th grade.  The school is a vital part of the community.  The pristine Black River is about 5 miles from town and feeds Clearwater Lake which is about 20 minutes to the south.  Fishing and hunting are favorite pastimes of area residents and church members.  A large roofing granule industry employs a sizable number of people while many residents are involved in farming or timber.  Annapolis is a wonderful place to visit, with numerous recreational opportunities, but it is even more wonderful to call this quaint little community home.  Come visit us!
